Kandise Marie Newby

August 5, 1987 - October 17, 2022

Kandise Marie Newby passed away on the afternoon of October 17, 2022. She was born on August 5, 1987, to Dave and Jackie Newby.
Kandise was the firstborn of three daughters and the absolute light and love of our lives.  She enjoyed dance and cheer as she was growing up. Kandise made the Cheer team in Jr High and went on to graduate from Taylorsville High School.

Kandise loved golfing with her dad as well as camping,  shopping, and being at all the family get togethers whenever she could.  We were lucky enough to have one last vacation with her to Las Vegas where she had the time of her life.

Those who were lucky enough to be touched by Kandise's sweet spirit, infectious smile and big heart knew that she was a one-of-a-kind.  As much as we are all going to miss you we are thankful for every moment that we had with her. Although her path may have been altered we know she is in a better place. Rest in paradise baby girl!

Kandise is survived by her parents Dave and Jackie Newby her loving sisters Kirsten Newby and Kortney Ohlwiler (Gabe) nephews which she adored Jayson and Brandyn Ohlwiler and Khalil Kersey Grandparents Mike and Pat Walker and Kaye Newby as well as many loving cousins.
Kandise is preceded in death by her Grandpa Verl Newby, Uncle Craig Newby, cousins Camryn Newby and Jared Bohman.

A special thanks to the IHC/ICU respiratory trauma center as well as the Donor Connect Team
