Kassie Nicole Moffat
September 22, 1985 - January 31, 2017
Our beautiful Kassie Nicole Moffat passed away peacefully January 31, 2017 after a long battle with addiction.
Our beloved daughter, sister, and mom was born on September 22, 1985 to Jeff and Sherry Moffat. She had a passion for life with an abundant sense of humor, brilliant mind, and tender loving heart; an athlete and beautiful singer. Kassie loved nothing more than spending time with her son Mason. She had a magni cent personality and smile that shone brightly to all she knew with a free spirit, always exploring new adventures. Kassie was a good friend and relative to many and she loved all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by many. She is now encircled by God, free from earthly shackles, dancing, laughing, happy and at peace.
Kassie is survived by her son Mason Werley and his father Mathew; parents Jeff and Sherry Moffat; brother Cort Moffat; sister Sasha (Josh) Cantrel; grandma Geraldine; many other extended family and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 4th at 10:00 AM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1710 South Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, where a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City. Celebration of Life will follow the interment, also at the church.
In lieu of owers donations may be made to the Mason Werley Trust Fund at any Mountain America Credit Union.

I am so sorry to read about your loss, it is always difficult to lose a loved one, but it is especially tragic to lose them at such a young age. Please take comfort in knowing that death is only a temporary part of life. (John 5:28,29) Although your time with Kassie was cut short, you can have the hope of being reunited with her forever, under perfect circumstances, completely free from addiction. (Revelation 21:4) In the meantime, even though the pain may at times seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure. (Psalm 94:17-19) Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences.
