Kevin Andrew Pack
December 22, 1983 - August 15, 2014
Kevin Andrew Pack passed away peacefully on Friday, August 15, 2014 after an 18 year battle with Type-1 Diabetes. In his last days, Kevin was surrounded by many loved ones and he will be remembered as a cherished son, brother, father, uncle, nephew, and friend.
Kevin was born on December 22, 1983 to Valeen Palmer Pack and Allen Earl Pack in Salt Lake City. Despite many challenges in his short life, Kevin lived happily and exuberantly. He showed immense love, generosity, and charity to all who met him and he brightened any room with his smile and good humor. Kevin was a talented woodworker and animal caregiver and he enjoyed games, movies, the outdoors, and especially just being with friends. Kevin graduated from the challenging Odyssey House program where he developed many lifelong friendships. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his sweet daughter, Kenzy.
Kevin is survived by his mother, Valeen Pack; brothers, Jeffery (Emme) Pack, Nathan (Jeanette) Pack, Steven (Angie) Pack; sister, Jennifer (Damon) Pearson; daughter, Kenzy Fegley; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Pack.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 21st from 6:00-8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 22nd at 11:00 AM also at Starks Funeral Parlor, where a viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment to follow at Elysian Burial Gardens, 4580 South 1075 East, Salt Lake City.

Dear Valeen and Kevin's large family, My heart goes out to you for your loss. I am so grateful that Kevin graced my life for so many years. I have watched him struggle with his diabetes. So excited when his sugars were under better control. So discouraged when he couldn't keep up with what needed to be done. In spite of his struggles, he has always been high on my list of people I liked. May he be able to let you know he is there and loves you and appreciates all you have done through his mortal life. I know it is a comfort to know he is finally able to see and hug his dad. God bless you all. Love, John
