LaJuanda Ann Owens

LaJuanda Ann Owens

Remember me with Smiles

Our loving wife, mother and grandmother born on March 2nd, 1948 left us suddenly on June 29th, 2011. Her kind-hearted spirit touched the hearts of many here on earth and will touch many more in Heaven. She had a special place in her heart for taking care of others in need and she made this her career as a nurse for many years. Her passing leaves us deeply saddened and we will miss her dearly until we see her again.

Survived by her husband of 42 years, Richard; four children Angie (Dee)

Braithwaite, Tammy (Robert) Jorgensen, LaTrisha Owens, Colton Owens; her four grandchildren Michael, Jocelyn, Avalon and Aubrilynn; brother Tom; sister Karen; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Preceded in death by her parents Billie Jean and D.L. Butts; daughter Christy Lynn Owens; and niece Brittany Hart all of whom we know she is joyous to see again.

Friends and loved ones are invited to share their support and memories with the family during a Wake in her honor on Saturday, July 9th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at 10342 S. Walnut Canyon Lane, South Jordan.

In Loving Memory

God looked around his garden And found an empty place, He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your weary eyelids And whispered, ?Peace bethine'. It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home.

Working with LaJuanda was always a day of smiles, she tried to hard to set me up with someone, always :) I just laughed because she never gave up even when I moved stores she would fb me late at night.. Her spunk and love for the holidays was a ton of fun to see how she would match her clothing to suit each one I thought I was the only one who did that these days, she will be missed on so many diff. levels for me. I would like to offer my prayers and condolences to Lajuanda's family in this time of great sorrow. I am very honored to have know Lajuanda. Lajuanda was an asset to our store. She was called to serve and I saw it on a daily basis serving our community and our team members. Even in her last hours on earth I witnessed this. Lajuanda was always full of love, passion, and care for others. Lajuanda always looked at the positive side of things. She had a will to learn, to teach and to praise others. She will be greatly missed and will not be forgotten. Thank you Lajuanda. " may the lord raise you up on eagles wings and hold you in the palm of his hand"......Amen

I had only recently met LaJuanda. She worked at Walgreens and I had gotten to know her from there. She was always kind and friendly and joked alot. I live next to a Walgreens but always went to her store just to talk with her. One of the last times I talked with her she told me to keep an eye on Trish and I will certainly do so! Thanks LaJuanda for touching my life! You will be missed as Walgreens wont be the same. For the family....im deeply sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you all.
