Lance Edward Addison
"MacGyver"

Our son, brother, uncle and friend went home to be with the Lord on February 20th, 2016. He was born on February 14th, 1965 to Adrienne Clayton and Charles Edward Addison in Gary, IN, where he also attended Pilgrims Rest MB Church with his father.

At the young age of 4, Lance proved great artistic abilities and by the age of 5 was able to play the piano by ear. He was a member of his Jr. High Marching Band and around age 12 his father taught him and his brother James how to play the guitar. With this passion for music he and his brother created the band Fazor, in which he played lead guitar and was also the leader of the band. Fazor allowed them to travel throughout the Midwest. Lance graduated from Gary Roosevelt High School in 1983 and went on to study Computer Science at DeVry University.

Survived by mother Adrienne; siblings Nancy Wasdon of Los Angeles, CA, Sharron Addison of Tinley Park, IL, James Addison of Gary, IN, Nathan (Michelle) Clayton of Layton, UT, Leon T. (Star) Littles of Las Vegas, NV; extended family Kesha Houston, Marcus Taylor and Deshawne Jackson; 17 nieces and nephews and many loving friends. Preceded in death by father Charles Edward Addison; sister Keeyona Addison; and niece Jennifer Addison.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.
