Landon Eloy Caputo

April 24, 2012 - February 20, 2019

Landon came into this life bringing an immeasurable amount of love, happiness and joy on April 24th 2012.

All thru his life Landon had a love for all things Mickey Mouse, listening to music & silly noises, being read to and more than anything Landon loved being with his family. As a family we visited Disney World where Landon met Mickey Mouse and where he fell in love with every Princess he met. Landon swam with dolphins, dipped his feet in the Pacific & Atlantic Oceans, buried his little toes in sandy beaches, met special friends in Minnesota & Washington and enjoyed trips to California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana and New Mexico. Landon loved being outdoors and we enjoyed countless days in the mountains fishing and being together. Landon’s smile lit up our lives and his infectious laugh was music to our ears. There was no better feeling than holding Landon in our arms and seeing the warmth & light of heaven in his beautiful eyes. Our “Boom Boom” faced many challenges as he valiantly fought Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy and we feel as though Landon ultimately won that battle as he never let it bring his spirit down and lived his life every single day with laughter, smiles, happiness and love. We are so proud of Landon’s life and the incredible way he chose to live it.

Landon was welcomed into heaven by his maternal great grandparents and his two guardian angel cousins, Christopher & Allyson, and we find comfort thinking of their reunion & happiness being together. Landon leaves behind his loving parents Joseph and Ashley Caputo, his adoring sister Isabella, grandparents whom he shared a special bond with Michael & Jodie Caputo and Daryl & Patti Hagler as well as many great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that love him.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 25th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.  Guests are encouraged to wear all things Mickey and use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building.  A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 26th at 11:30 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns.  Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy.

Landon was a patient at Shriners Hospital and Primary Childrens Hospital and we would like to thank them for all they did for him. A special thanks to Dr. Samson-Fang and Dr. Butterfield for the excellent level of care they provided Landon over the years. Landon’s nurses, Jeff, Maggie, Crystalyn, Alexis, Karen, will always hold a special place in our heart and we’re so thankful for the compassionate, loving way they cared for him. Thanks to Make A Wish foundation we will always have special memories with Landon at Disney World. Forever would have never been long enough to have with Landon but we feel so blessed to have had him for six years and ten months. We will miss him every moment of every day.

In Loving Memory

I am very sorry for the loss of your sweet Landon. He will be missed by those who know him and your grief for him will be hard. Jesus cried at the death of his friend Lazurus, even tho he was going to resurrect him to life, and give him back to his sisters Mary and Martha, here on earth. The many miracles Jesus did gives us hope for all mankind in our future. Someday Jesus will take away all our problems, sorrows, death, and sickness, by means of God's Kingdom government, so mankind can live forever on earth and welcome back our loved ones into our lives. Ps. 37: 9-11,29. Jesus said in Matt. 5:3 Landon will come back whole, be able to run, jump, and skip about to never be sick again. Jesus proved that hope for Landon by the true healings he did when here on earth and will do again in our future. Please talk to Jehovahs Witnesses whenever you get a chance and learn more about of the bible's wonderful promises that will come true.
