Our beloved Lawrence Ray Archuleta passed away June 5, 2011, after a valiant and noble battle with diabetes. Ray was born to Marcelino and Antonia Ulibarri Archuleta on August 30, 1946. He was the forth of fifteen children.
Ray had many accomplishments in his life. He was in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. While in the Marine Corp he participated in boxing for his military unit and served in the Military Police in Adak, Alaska. He was a man of high integrity and honor. We will miss him dearly.
Survived by five children Michael Ray, Andrea, Aaron, Adam and Paige; 14 grandchildren Holden, Haley, Zachary, Chad, Malia, Jacob, Lillian, Kes, Noah, Grace, Kaleb, Justice Mae, Deston, and Trey; siblings Rebecca, Anita, Angie, Ester, Margie, Marcelino, Christina, Danny, Frank, Charlie, Lisa and Emily. He was preceded in death by his parents Marcelino and Antonia Archuleta; sister Mabel; and brother George.
Services will be held on Monday, June 13th at 12:00 noon at the Utah Veteran’s Memorial Park Chapel, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale, with a viewing one hour prior to services.

Dear Archuleta Family, I am so sorry to hear about Ray. I only met in a few times and he was such a sweet guy. My Brother Chris who passed away in April truly thought a lot of hime.
