Our father, grandfather and great-grandfather Leland Ray Leafty, 88, passed away on September 24th, 2011.  He was born March 2nd, 1923 to George Virgil and Ethel Simms Leafty.  Married Kathleen May Cross in England.

 

Survived by seven children PL (Anna), Daniel Richard, M. George (Nancy), Cindy, Mildred, Leland Jr. (Debbie) Leafty; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-granchildren; and a brother.  Preceded in death by his wife; parents; and 9 brothers.

 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 1st at 1:00PM at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City.

 

Dad always said, “If I can’t take it with me, I’m not going!”, but he left without it anyway.
