Lilly A. Marquez

Lilly Rosalia Abeyta Marquez- Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend entered Heaven's Gates and was reunited with her husband (favorite dance partner) on January 15, 2018.
Lilly was born December 1924 in Tiffany, Colorado to Margarita Valdez Abeyta and Abel J. Abeyta.
She married Eusebio "Marco" Marquez in September 1945 and was a loving wife and helpmate to her husband and a wonderful stay-at-home Mother to their three daughters. She was a very hard worker her entire life. She was also a talented seamstress, who loved to quilt and crochet. She was never idle, she took great pride in her flowers and vegetable garden and putting up Jellie for her family and friends. Lilly had an unwavering faith in God, she was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, which she attended until her health declined.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Eusebio Marquez; three brothers Miguel, Bonifacio and John; and three sisters Beatrice, Margie and Julia.
Lilly is survived by three daughters Peggy (Robert), Shirley (Jim) and Annette (Steve); seven grandchildren Rodney (Laura), Alesha, Brandon, Brooke (Justin), Marcus (Jessica), Brittany, and Amanda; six great-grandchildren Marco, Lilliana, Cadence, Brooklynn, Garrett, and Adrian; sisters Stella Lucero and Evelyn Carbajal; and many loved nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, where friends may call upon the family from 11:30 – 12:30 PM. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 12:30 PM, also at the Church.
She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Price City Cemetery, 595 East 400 North, Price.

She was a very loving great grandmother to all. She is a very pretty lady. I will always remember her giving us potato chips. I know she loved us very much and she lived a long life. I will miss her dearly.
