Lilly Watson
September 11, 1920 - November 5, 2010

She graduated from South High School in 1937. Lilly was a very talented artist whose paintings were admired by many. Her ability to capture a landscape or a smile was a gift that brought joy to anyone who saw her work.
Mom was always such a sweet woman. Her concern was for others, her soft voice, and big smile were a welcome addition to any setting. Lilly will be missed by everyone who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Byron and her daughter, Linda Watson.
She is survived by her sister Beth Rose residing in Phoenix Arizona; her two children, Craig Watson and Shauna (Lynn) Westberg; and two grandchildren, Amy Westberg and Kyle Watson.
A funeral will be held Wednesday November 10, 11:00 am at the Rose Park First Ward in the East Chapel, 800 North 1200 West, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery 2350 East 1300 South. Arrangements entrusted to Starks Funeral Parlor.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the kind staff of Cottonwood Creek Assisted Living Center and in particular to her nurse Deedra who helped her through a difficult transition.
In Loving Memory
Life is so precious and all too soon it can slip away, but thanks to God through Christ we have a wonderful hope for the future. "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear the voice of Christ and come out." John 5:28,29 Acts 24:15 Although your loved one is asleep in death Christ will journey there to awaken her from sleep and a beautiful future awaits those whom we've lost and those who long to see them again. John 11:1,11,14,25,35,38-44 Revelation 21:3,4 Psalm 37:10,11,29 Isaiah 65:21-24 Micah 4:4 Psalm 145:16

I just Love your Mother! She was always so nice and sweet to me. Every Christmas she would send me a card and write something in it. Shauna and Craig. We were sorry to read of your Mom's passing. We loved living next door to you in Rose Park. Your Mom and Dad were wonderful. I remember your Mom's sparkly eyes and strangely, I remember how small her feet were! She was a great lady. I know that she is enjoying a wonderful reunion with Byron and others. Our Prayers are with you. Margaret (Mecham), Maralyn, and Beverly

Craig and Shauna - We were service missionaries in the Rose Park Ward and became acquainted with your wonderful mother. What a beautiful, gentle woman. We were fortunate to enjoy many visits with her over the past year and a half and continued those visits when she moved to Cottonwood Creek Assisted Living Center. She would always update us on her children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. We are sorry to have missed her funeral but were not aware of her passing until just last weekend. She will be missed greatly.
