Linda Faye Nordsven

April 15, 1946 - July 29, 2022

Linda Faye Nordsven, 76, of Centerville, UT, passed away on July 29 after a brave battle with brain cancer.
Linda was born on April 15, 1946 to Eleanor and Glen Goodenough in Salt Lake City, UT.
After graduating from West High School, in 1963, Linda worked department retail, married and has three children.

After living in Salt Lake City her entire life, Linda wanted a new adventure, and found it in retail management that took her and her three children to Grand Forks, North Dakota.  There, she was the counter manager of Estée Lauder. Time and time again, Linda was number one in sales and this won her a trip to meet Estée Lauder and see the production site in New York City!

Linda was a go getter and wanted to start a side business. She visited the local bank to get a small business loan, and that was a day that changed her life!  She found a supporter of her venture with the Vice President of loan department, Don Nordsven. Not only did she get the loan, she found the true love of her life!

Linda and Don were happily married for 40 years! Between the two, they have five children, Brad Horsley, Stacey Horsley, Shelly Horsley, Steve Nordsven and Mike Nordsven.

Linda was passionate about family and friends, and her house was always filled with love, laugher, food, some fun drinking, and lots of cards and board games.

Linda was predeceased by Glen Goodenough, Eleanor Goodenough (Mallard), Richard Mallard, Danny Goodenough, Clint Young, Richelle (Shelly) Horsley

She is survived by her loving husband, Don Nordsven, brother, Howard Goodenough (Joan), sister, Glenda Young (Terry), children Brad Horsley(Michelle Horsley), Stacey Horsley Hansen(Jeff Hansen), grandchildren, Laurie Steadman, Joshua Horsley, Jaydn Meier, Tyler Nordsven, Justin Horsley, Kevin Horsley, Danny Horsley, Krystal Atwood and Paul Atwood.
Linda has 3 great grandchildren, and many other family members and loving friends.

Linda is the heart and soul of our family unit. Our Ray of Sunshine.
She will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Stark’s Funeral Parlor, 3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday, August 20th from 4:00 to 6:00PM. Guests are encouraged to use the north parking lot.

Oh my beautiful Auntie Lynnie, how she will be missed by so many. As a little girl I remember her visiting from North Dakota and she would bring me goodies from Estée Lauder. I thought she was a beautiful celebrity and I want to be just like her. I looked up to her so much. She took good care of my Grandma as she aged and to watch her put someone else before her own needs showed what a beautiful person she was inside and out. Her time on earth was too short!! I love and miss you Aunt Lynnie (my second mom)
