Our beautiful vibrant sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, affectionately know as Possum to her family, Lisa Wyllie, age 52, lost her battle with cancer on February 25, 2018.
Lisa was born on September 28, 1965 in Salt Lake City, UT to Bill and Clara Wyllie and she was the 3rd of 4 children.
Lisa graduated from the University of Utah in 1989.
Lisa worked as an administrative assistant at L3 Technologies for the last 7 years where she was beloved by her co-workers. She had the knack for making friends wherever she went. Lisa also worked in the banking and insurance industry.
Her personality was bigger than life and so were her talents. Her crafts, gift wrapping, flower arrangements and gift baskets were amazing. If you have been a recipient of anything she made you, you were astonished and honored.
Lisa was well known for being the party planner extraordinaire and everything was planned and organized to a "T". No stone was left unturned.
She was a huge University of Utah fan, with a bedroom dedicated to the U.
Lisa was also a Huge lover of animals. Always concerned when she seen a stray dog or cat to pick them up and drop them off at the Human society.
Lisa is survived by her siblings Tonna (Kelly) Goodfellow Salt Lake, David (Jacquie) Wyllie Reno, NV, Andrew (Jana) Wyllie Costa Mesa, CA, and half sister Linda Meyer Las Vegas, NV; nieces Abby and Jillian; nephew Shane; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, canine niece Milly, feline niece Mia, feline nephew Nico and many, many friends. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

In honor of her passion and flair, please come in your UTE gear or something to celebrate her unique style.
She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 2:30 PM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Ave 'T' Street, Salt Lake City.

I was so sad to hear of Lisa's passing. My condolences to her family. I went to St. Francis and elementary through high school with Lisa. We even had a college class together. I admired Lisa for her strength and how she stood up for what she believed. I also felt she had my back as a fellow Catholic. She was super intelligent, had a beautiful smile and amazing blue eyes. May she rest in peace in God's loving arms.
