Loden S. Holt
February 24, 1994 - May 2, 2025

I am sharing the news of the passing of Loden Sharp Holt, who passed away peacefully on Friday May 2nd, 2025, at 9:39 PM in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the University of Utah Hospital. Loden was 31 years old.
He underwent a liver transplant in 2019 and fought courageously for over four years to remain with his beloved family. Loden was a remarkably talented individual, born in Berlin, Germany, on February 24th, 1994, to Benjamin and Stephanie (March) Holt. He graduated early from Middleton High School in 2012, a feat made possible by his love for reading, which helped him stay focused on his goals from a young age.
Loden had many passions, including playing the guitar, driving his Jeep with his children, and working with his hands. Throughout his life, he held various positions, demonstrating a strong work ethic and the determination to succeed in anything he pursued. His work history included being a Prison Guard in Tennessee, various construction roles, worked in the mines in Nevada and most recently, working as a Maintenance Technician at Go Go Squeeze in Nampa. In addition to his full-time job, Loden also owned a handyman service called Hippies & Cowboys Handyman LLC.
Early in his life, he married Hailey Hackney, and together they had three wonderful children whom he cherished: Jasper, Lucian, and Coral Holt. Loden will be deeply missed by all who knew him but will be welcomed by his grandmother, Maria March.
Loden is survived by his mother, Stephanie Cook; father, Benjamin Holt; ex-wife, Hailey Holt; his two sons, Jasper and Lucian Holt; his daughter, Coral Holt; his twin sister, Jade Holt; his older brother, Hunter Holt; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family members, and friends. He possessed a unique ability to connect with people in a profound and positive way.
A celebration of life memorial will be held at a later date.
