Lori Olsen

December 16, 1955 - March 11, 2017

Lori Olsen, 61, was greeted in Heaven by her sweetheart Connel on March 11, 2017. Lori was born on December 16, 1955 in Denver, Colorado to Keith Trolson and Marie Bradshaw-Cook. Connel and Lori married in Logan, Utah on January 18, 1975.

Lori and Connel had a crazy bunch of kids who blessed them with 14 amazing grandchildren who then gave them 8 sweet great-grandchildren! What a beautiful legacy!

If Lori wasn't in the kitchen whipping up one of her famous dishes or perfect cookies you could find her in the yard planting flowers, or in her "bear room" sewing something beautiful or she was planning the next Arizona adventure with her love.

There was so much Lori loved to do but she certainly cherished camping with the grandkids in the famous "Hotormone." Lori was the world's greatest Grandmother and loved each one of them so very much. If you asked any of her grandkids, they would tell you that she was the best Grandma and could always make them laugh especially when she chased them with the mighty duster or brought out the tickle machine!

Lori was an exceptional Mother who taught us kids how to keep a nice home, how to cook a great meal and how to iron a mad crease but more so how to live life to the fullest, to learn as much as we could, to love with our whole heart and fight for what we believed in…not to mention how to tell a great dirty joke!

From the beginning to the very end, Lori never lost her sense of humor or her ability to make friends with the people she met. Lori lit up any room she entered and would never settle for a dull moment. Lori left a lasting impression on so many people and touched those who cared for her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 18th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building. Online condolences may be offered and tribute video may be viewed at www.starksfuneral.com

A sincere thank you to the select few at Sandy Health and Rehab who cared for our mother with love, kindness, precision and patience.

"I love you more than dirt."
Until we meet again.
