Luis Miguel Castaneda

October 5, 1987 - July 18, 2020

The day God called you home God looked around his garden and found an empty space.

Then he looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.  God’s garden must be beautiful for he only takes the best.

He knew you were suffering. He knew you were in pain. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb.

So he closed your weary eyes and whispered “Peace be thine”.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone for part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

Luis is survived by his parents: Amadeo and Lidia Castaneda; his brother: Marco; sisters: Rocio, Iliana and Adriana; his sons: Stephen Amadeo and Luis Alexander.

Luis enjoyed cooking and spending time in nature including hiking, camping and fishing at the lake.

He loved spending time with his sons.

He had a lot of friends and a special kind of humor that was enjoyed by many, sometimes even in song form.

He may not have had a long life, but he had a full life filled with many happy moments and experiences.

He will be deeply missed by all.

Nada podia prepararnos para este dia. Siempre pensamos que estariamos juntos hasta el final de nuestros dias.

Aunque no podamos verte envejecer, en nuestros corazones siempre vivira el recuerdo de ti.

Gracias por todo.

Tu recuerdo sera nuestra calma y nuestra fortaleza.
