M. Keith Fisher
November 18, 1929 - January 28, 2023
On January 28, 2023, a much loved father, brother, grandpa, great grandpa and companion joined many friends and loved ones who had previously passed.
Keith was born November 18, 1929 in Los Angeles, California, to Thomas Milton Bond and Fontella Frances Burgess. He was later adopted by H.R. Fisher.
He met the love of his life, Mary Ahlin, while they attended East High School, graduating in 1947. They married in April, 1955 and spent many wonderful years traveling, spending time in Palm Springs with their children to escape the cold weather, golfing and enjoying pool time.
Foulger Equipment Company provided the early years of Keith’s profession in heavy equipment sales and service. Later, with Mary and his son, Dave, Keith opened Fisher’s Creative Car Care, a family-owned business, which Dave continued to operate until its closing in 2019.
Keith was happiest when on the golf course, the deck of the cabin listening to his big band and swing music (with popsicle in hand), traveling to warm climates and spending time with friends and family.
Keith leaves behind his heartbroken children, Jan (Jim) Dunn; Karen (Tom) Kendrick; Lori (Craig) Fisher-Wilson; and Dave (Pam) Fisher; and his loving companion, Anita Morse. He is also survived by his sister, brother, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dad’s caretakers at The Wellington and to Enhabit Hospice, specifically Jordan, with whom he shared his last thoughts.
Dad has declared it’s time… “Everybody Out of the Pool.”
Celebration of Keith's life will be on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the parking and entrance on the north side of the building. He will be laid to rest at Larkin Sunset Garden.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to your favorite charity or consider sharing a “popsicle” with a friend!
In Loving Memory
We will cherish all our adventures on the golf course with Keith and always remember our conversations and popsicles on the nineteenth hole. He is already missed. Our deepest condolences to the family. Rest in peace Keith

Dearest Friend Lorice, You and your beautiful family are all in our thoughts and prayers. We loved sharing some great memories with both your parents (a wonderful couple). Your dad's love for fun times, his great smile, love for timeless music and happy hours at his home bar, just listening to his stories, will always be lovinly remembered. Following his journey through this life while watching his Celebration of Life video was a true testament to who your dad was - a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend, enjoying life, family and making the most of every day was his priority. He will be greatly missed, but as an Angel he will live on and watch over all those he loved. Much love! Bear, Mona & family xoxo
