Margaret Peterson passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Villa on July 25th, 2012. Margaret was born in Grand Island, Nebraska, the youngest of six children to Nell and Frank Grennan.

Margaret worked various jobs throughout her life and liked to keep busy. She was a longtime member of the Cottonwood Country Club where she enjoyed social events and loved to play golf and tennis. Maggie loved to travel the world and spend time with her wonderful friends. She was a skilled duplicate bridge player and spent many afternoons at the Bridge Center. She was married to the love of her life, Darwin, for over 52 years and was especially proud of her two grandsons, Andrew and Matt.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Cindy, Carnation, WA; son Todd (Sheila), Salt Lake City; and her two grandsons. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her brothers and sister.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 8th at noon at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 2315 Redondo Ave., Salt Lake City. Friends may greet the family at the church one hour before the mass. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation for the cure of spinal cord injury, 636 Morris Turnpike, Suite A, Short Hills, NJ 07078 or online at www.christopherreeve.org.

In Loving Memory

I have known Margaret for more than 40 years. My fondest memories of Margaret and Darwin involve our trips to Milford, Utah to help the Long family with their church charity auction. We made the annual trip 25 times. Margaret, Darwin, the Longs, and Andy and I laughed, danced, and had fun. I'll miss Margaret.

lovefrommich / Awesome job keeping the weistbe up to date! Thank you so much David & Team for this tour and for all you do. I came from Michigan to see the 1st two shows in New York and I was blown away by the whole show. BRAVO! Loved the song choices, arrangements, and overall feeling of the concerts! Fantastic! Incredible! Little Drummer Boy needs to be recorded and released! A whole concert DVD would be awesome. Also, sell those jackets that a few people won, and have some of the money go to charity! Thanks again David for all you do for us & for sharing your voice with us. You're a gift to me, fa la la la la! :)
