Margaret V. Ponce

As I sit and think about my mom, I want to to show her my appreciation for everything she’s done for me over the years; the great times, and the worst times alike. As the youngest of six and your caretaker, I’ve really appreciated these last additional years with you. It was very difficult to lose four of my siblings so I cant imagine the pain you felt and continued to feel daily. I truly loved and admired your strength, wisdom and beauty. That being said; this is my gift to you. David and I will remember our pact and every time we feel that twitch in our eye, we will remember that we are all still together. Margaret is survived by her daughter Jenny McCarter; son David Ponce; grandchildren Joe, Tony, Richard, Maggie, Alexis, Dacia, Rebecca, Leon, Robert, Jr., Jennifer and Elizabeth; as well as 20 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sons Robert, Richard, Lawrence, and Gregory. A vigil and recitation of the Rosary will be held on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 6 to 8PM at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South, Kearns, UT. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the church on Tuesday, October 6th at 11AM. Inurnment will follow at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave and T Street, Salt Lake City. Arrangements entrusted to Starks Funeral Parlor.
