Marge W. Allen

July 6, 1955 - February 6, 2017

Marge passed away peacefully February 6, 2017 surrounded by love.

She was born on July 6, 1955 in Salt Lake City. Marge and her daughter graduated the same day in 2007, earning the same Bachelor's of Science in Business Management from Westminster College. She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Utah after 30 years. Marge was happy to be the hostess and enjoyed cooking cilantro-free meals fit for an army. She was also very loving, caring and supportive, always cheering for the underdog. She was patient and tactful and a master of organization and efficiency.

She is survived by her daughter Megan (Evan) Sutton; siblings Burt and Chuck; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who love her.

I am so sorry for your loss. Death is never welcomed, but it is something we are all familiar with. I hope you can find comfort in the promises of God's word, that some day there will be no more death. At Revelation 21:4 it says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. 2 Corinthians 1:3 says "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort." Please rely on God's word to give you comfort along with your wonderful memories.

Megen, I hope that you will remember Dr. Black who knew you "inside out" and loved you and your Mom. I was just notified last evening of her death and was not able to attend the service, but did want to send my love and condolences to you. You must know that it was always a delight when you and your Mom would come into the office....some of my very favorite patients. My thoughts and prayers are for your peace. I would love to meet up again someday. I hope that all is well and that life is good for you. My love, Dr. Brent Black
