Maria Amalia Powers
August 5, 1941 - November 3, 2021
We regretfully announce the passing of Maria Amalia Powers of Tooele, Utah on November 3rd, 2021. Maria was surrounded by her family and able to say her goodbyes in person, by phone and video. She passed away peacefully.
Our mother, Maria, was one of the most giving and kindest women to ever walk this earth. She was a social butterfly who filled everyone's heart. Our family was blessed to have her as our mom. Maria was a talented seamstress. She had many passions in life. She was always excited about life, it was one big adventure. She cared about everyone and had a special love for animals of all kind. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her. She will be deeply missed by many, especially those whose heart were touched by her beautiful soul.
Maria was preceded in death by parents; Joseph and Mary Romero, sisters; Esther, Alice and Eva, brothers; Joe, Frank, Ray, Vick and Salvador, grandson Ricky Nielson and son-in-law James Depaoli.
She is survived by brother Emilio Romero, daughters; Veronica Perkins (John), Kerry Ann Seabolt, Lonita Seabolt (Adam Murray), Bonita Seabolt (Essam Mohamed), son Vincente Palafox and many grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews. She was “Mom” to many.
In lieu of a funeral, a “Celebration of Life” will be held on Friday, June 10th from 6:00 utnil 10:00 PM at the Tooele Marketplace, 140 East 200 South, Tooele, UT .

My deepest condolences to all of Maria's family. I knew her as Molly she helped me out a lot. She helped me get my driver's license. She knew the instructor and told me everything about him. I'm grateful to Molly for helping me out and helping me get my driver's license.I'm so grateful that I got to know her. She was so wonderful to everyone. I met her through her brother Vic aka Rudy I was dating him at the time. When I met her. I'm very glad I met her wonderful woman and sister mom and Grandma and friend.
