Born in St. Louis, MO., raised in Denver, CO., where she met her husband of 56 years, Edward F. Brown Jr. Our mom was a lifelong reader who instilled a love of books and language in all her children. Her good cooking and kind heart will be long remembered. Our mom's deep faith inspired her children and sustained her throughout her 98 years. She was a faithful member of St. Vincent's Catholic Parish, the Catholic Women's League and the

In Loving Memory

Leslie, I wanted to be at your mother's funeral Mass but had a nine-thirty meeting as an officer in he 55 and older group at St. Thomas More. It went on and on and I got to St. Vincent's about noon. I hope you received the hastily written condolence. A little nun gave me the Comfort For those Who Mourn when I lost my mother. I hope it helps you. Beverly

Dear Leslie and family, Beverly just let me know that your dear mother had died. I am glad that you found opportunities to be with her on your trips to Salt Lake as you will surely value these times for the remainder of your life. I did not have the privilege of knowing your mother but I know she was very special because you are very special too. With my deepest sympath, Susan
