Maris Anne Curtis
Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on September 3, 2011.
She was born on April 29, 1939 in Kansas, the daughter of Robert “Bud” and Kathryn Deck. She married Richard A. Curtis who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. Maris was an avid bowler and played on many leagues. She was a devoted mother and an animal lover.
She is survived by her children L’Dee (Karan) Curtis, Scott Curtis (Allia Deangelis), Kathie Curtis, Korey (Gkresia) Curtis; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and Les Means.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, and her great-granddaughter Payton Hope Marie Curtis.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 6th at 12:00 noon at St. Ann Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, Salt Lake City, where viewing will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy.
