Mark Eugene Howa

April 21, 1957 - October 26, 2022

Mark Eugene Howa passed away surrounded by his family on October 26, 2022 at age 65.
Born to Jim and Nona Howa (deceased) in Price, Utah. He was the middle of 9 siblings.
Sondra (Gary), Max (Joni), Scott (deceased) (Sherry), Kerrie (Bob), Brent (Lori), Kim (deceased) (Vicki), Steven (Ute), Kathy (Kendra), Curtis (Dawn).
Mark graduated from Hillcrest High School. He went on to become a Dental technician for  over 40 years, but being “Pop-Pop” (grandpa) was always his favorite job. He was phenomenal at both!
Mark married his high school sweetheart Penny Lou Pepper January 29, 1977. He would have done anything for their 3 children. Lisa (BJ) Biltz, Chris Howa, Nick (Sheena) Howa. His 4 grandchildren were his whole world. Degan, Landon, Dixon and Marlee. He had many amazing nieces, nephews and cousins who loving called him “Mark-Mark”.
Spending quality time with his family is what he loved best: water balloon fights, BBQ’s, swimming and gardening. Watching his grandsons play baseball was one of his favorite pastimes. His family was his most cherished possession.

He is already deeply missed.
His absence is a hole that can never be filled.

A private service will be held.

Lisa,  Thinking of your sweet family. My heart is broken for you. I know how much your Dad meant to you. He was such a nice man with such a gentle smile and demeanor. I remember him taking us in the big ol Bronco,(I think that's what it was.) we had some fun times! I remember your dad making your mom laugh. (I love your mom's laugh! )As a young girl it made a impression on me, the love they shared. I know you will miss him. My prayer is that you are comforted with memories and continue to feel the love that he had for you all. Sending my love to you and your family.  Jaci
