Mark Reuben May

December 18, 1952 - July 16, 2017

Our loving father, Poppi, and friend, Mark Reuben May, passed away on July 16th, 2017.

Mark lived to take care of those around him, with his generosity, compassion, and support for all those he loved. With a passion for building, creating, and engineering, he spent more than 40 years continuing his family's legacy at May Foundry & Machine Co. The relationships he built, and the craftsmanship of his work, leave a legacy that will last for years to come. Mark's greatest loves included his family, cycling, and Lake Tahoe.

He is survived by his children Mike (Ashleigh), Danielle (Brian), Ashley (David), and Alexandria (Matt); his grandchildren Archer, Olive, and Bode; his sister, Sharon; and the many friends and loved ones who knew and admired him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his father, Jack.

We love you, Poppi.

Dear Ashley, We are so sorry. We have such fond memories of your parents. Of their cheering you on during Para league basketball (undefeated!) and soccer. Of Christmas parties at their lovely home. Your father was so proud of all your accomplishments. We are sorry we did not stay close as all our daughters grew up and some moved away. We can only imagine how much your hearts are breaking. Our love to you and Alex and Danielle and Mike and your families. Kathy and Mike
