My mom was a strong, hard working, loving, independent woman.  She raised three children on her own and nothing stopped mom from doing what she wanted.  Mom was a mother and a father to us she was my heart, my life and my hero.  She was upfront and straightforward.  Some people called it rude and those who really knew her just knew that was her way.  I’m so thankful for her teachings and the love my mother has taught me.  I am the man I am today because of my mom.  I love you mom and see you soon! – Marques

My mom was a strong, hard worker.  She loved to laugh and was outgoing, funny and full of life.  I loved when it was Friday cause I would visit my mom who gave me free food and money for the next week.  We would wipeout my moms kitchen every visit.  She loved oldies music and Saturday every morning waking up to the oldies meant only one thing “cleaning”.  We would visit and laugh about things in the past.  I’ll never forget the lessons and teachings she has taught me throughout my life.  I am so thankful to be blessed with such a gorgeous women to be my mother.  – Malcolm

A proud mother of three and a loving companion to Bobby Palimo’o.  She was a very strong, ambitious, hard working, intelligent and beautiful woman.  She surrounded herself with those that influenced her life to be the best she can be.  She spent life happy and free.  My mother’s greatest joys were her children and the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  She gave us the greatest gifts she could and that was being the independent mother that she is.  You couldn’t tell her any different, if she wanted it my mother would work, sleep, dream to get it.  She was the woman you went to for comfort as a friend, companion and a mother.  As she accomplished many things, the greatest of them all returning to her Heavenly Father.  Love you mommy.  Til’ we meet again.  – Lauren

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 22nd at 10:00 AM at the Heritage 11th LDS Ward, 7336 South 3200 West, West Jordan.  Friends may call upon the family for a viewing starting at 9:00AM.  Interment to follow at Lake Hills Memorial Park, 10055 S. State St., Sandy.
