Marlo Elizabeth Norris

Marlo Elizabeth Norris (Durtschi) passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Marlo carried a bold, unmistakable energy into every room she entered. She was the devoted mother of Emma, beloved daughter of Patricia and William, and cherished sister to Shawna (Leesa) and Erin (Ben).
Marlo earned her nursing degree-an accomplishment she took great pride in-and spent several years in Seattle caring for patients with the same fierce loyalty she showed the people she loved. Marlo was brash, funny, warm, and unafraid to speak her mind. She loved sports, especially cheering on the Yankees and Seahawks, concerts, and any moment that promised a hint of mischief. She had a talent for creating beautiful floral arrangements and making every space more vibrant with her eye for style and design. Her convictions were strong, her presence electric, and her courage unmistakable.
Marlo left this world far too soon and her family misses her dearly.
They take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace. A heartfelt thanks to all of Marlo’s friends and loved ones who cared deeply for her throughout the years.
In honor of Marlo’s memory, the family invites others to offer a single act of kindness to someone in need.
