Martha Mae Zane

May 16, 1934 – May 17, 2012

Our loving mother, sister, grandmother, friend, Martha Zane, 78, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Thursday, May 17, 2012 in Murray, Utah. On this day she started her journey to return home to her Heavenly Father and to join those who preceded her in death.

She was born in Bristol, Connecticut on May 16, 1934 to Peter and Johaska Superata. She married Vincent William Zane on February 12, 1955. They were married for 25 wonderful years before his sudden death in 1980.

Martha lived in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for nearly 40 years. She loved the city, the lake, and the breathtaking LHC sunsets. She lived to dance! She also enjoyed traveling, taking long walks, spending time with family and good friends, and she was a huge Diamondback fan.

She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church; her faith was strong and unwavering.

She is survived by her only son Gary Zane (Veronica), her two grandsons, Brayden and Adam, her sisters Dottie, Betty, and her Havasu sister Marie Wanciak.

Services were held at Starks Funeral Parlor in SLC, Utah.

So very sorry to hear of your loss.I worked with Martha at Mohave Realty for several years and also enjoyed many happy fun times after work. I will always remember her smiling face, her brisk walks home during her lunch hour, her forever tan. She was a very giving person and she will be missed by many.

I took my family on vaoitacn this at year at Lake Havasu and stayed at this rental. I cant say enough about how pleased we were with the rental. It was really one of the best vaoitacns we have ever had largly due to the rental property and the variety of recreational activities just outside the door. We plan to come back during spring break next year 2012. As soon as we have nailed down the dates I will get in touch with you to reserve the place. What a beautiful rental and well worth the price we paid.
