Marva, was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church Missionary Auxiliary. She was quite with a great big heart and smile. Even when she got sick she would press her way to church and tell me I miss you ladies and I’ll be back. May you find comfort in knowing she was a faithful servant of God and we will miss her dearly. Oh how I will miss my friend! She was there to greet me at the beginning of my shift and there to say "Love ya girl! Drive safe" at the end of my shift. I will truly miss her. She was such an example of enduring with a smile! We had so many laughs together! She was a great nurse and such a good friend to many! The residents at the VA love her and miss her already! They would wait for Miss M (Marva) to come to work. She was loved dearly by staff and residents. I have heard so many people say that she was like their 2nd mom and was always there to listen and care. She never complained even though you could see that she was often in pain. She was so happy to have her granddaughter Imani living with her and was so proud of her accomplishments. I will miss her but thankful she is resting at peace. No more masks or scraping the snow!! Love you more Miss M!! Dance with Jesus!

And I, Linda, would be glad that he was under her wise care as I left for the evening and Marva would just be starting the night shift. Our prayers are with you at this difficult time.

You would always tell me to be about my business, I'm okay. I loved working with you. You were always there for me. I will never forget you being Carl Malone's mom to one of our residents! I remember another one of our residents who asked to marry you several times. You were so cute with them. I never met anyone who didn't love you. Your home where you belong in heaven. We will miss you here.
