Marvin Charlie Davis was born in Salt Lake City at LDS Hospital on November 15, 1965 to Augustine Davis and Mary Jane Martinez (Davis). He died March 5, 2011 at Pioneer Valley Hospital.
He loved being around family, playing music and going fishing. He was a carpenter and there was nothing he could not do. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Luonda Davis; his daughters Star (15), April (9), and Anna (8); brothers Hank, Merle, Alvin, Calvin and Ervin Davis; uncles Virgil and Joe Martinez.
Preceded in death by his father and mother; brothers Everett “Beaver” and Melvin “Muzzy” Davis.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 9th from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at LDS Church, 5600 West 5100 South. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 10th at 3:00 PM also at the church, with a viewing one hour prior to services. He will be cremated after the service in accordance with his wishes.
