Mary Morozin

August 26, 1927 - September 23, 2015

Mary Morozin
"Maria"

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother passed away on September 23rd, 2015 and is on her journey home to her Heavenly Father. She was born unto Carolina Basar and Micael Luksic on August 26th, 1927 in Zagreb, Yugoslavia. She is on her way to be reunited with those who have gone home before her. Her husband for life Frank, two sons Boris and Tommy, and many more.

Mom spent her life in the service of others, raising her children, being a homemaker who cooked, cleaned and seemed to need to iron everything that was laundered. When she was not doing that she worked at times two jobs in the food industry as a chef and cook building the American dream.

Mom was a survivor, the strongest woman we have ever had the pleasure to know. We are unsure which of her life's battles was the hardest for her, WWII, family or Parkinson's but this strong woman would pick herself up, dust herself off, hold back the pain, the tears, and the sorrow to move forward. We pray that she gets in God's hands that which she did not get here on earth.

She is survived by her daughter Georgia; son Frank; and by countless grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Inurnment will take place at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Mom we love you and will hold you in our hearts, always. We ask that in her memory, you simply do something nice for someone else.

In Loving Memory

My sincere condolences to the family of Maria Morozin. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in God's promise to soon "swallow up death forever" and "wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) With deepest sympathy,

Mom, thank you for being such a example of strength. Seventy is the sum of our years, or eighty if we are strong. And most of them are fruitless toil, for they pass quickly and we drift away. (psalm 90:II:10) I have but one true regret. After so many years together, when you were at your weakest, so was I. I am truly sorry. I love you and miss you.

Grandmother God looked around His garden and found an empty space. Then He looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face. He put His arm around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful! He only takes the best. In deepest sympathy, Tammy Vail
