Megan Elizabeth Blackson

Megan passed away just after 4:00 am on Monday April 17, 2023 due to complications from surgery. She was surrounded by her loving parents, her grandfather and her caring health professionals.

Megan was a miracle baby born on July 4, 1993 in Salt Lake City, UT to Craig Blackson and Bonnie Cravens Blackson. Megan graduated from Park City High School and Salt Lake Community College.

Megan was a conert fanatic and an expert at obtaining tickets. She was a music aficionado in all things Rock ‘n Roll. Megan had a varied career working at Walmart, Black Turtle Services, Stub Hub, eBay and most recently Tesla. She loved her co-workers; her Bible Study friends and her Pokémon Go family. The love she shared with her mother and father was clear to everyone. She was her mother’s sidekick and was with her as often as she could, and her daddy/daughter Tuesdays were precious.

She is survived by her mother Bonnie; father Craig; grandmother Fran Blackson; grandfather Ralph Cravens; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. We would like to thank the health professionals at Intermountain Medical Center Shock Trauma Intensive Unit who lovingly took care of her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday April 26, 2023 from 6-8 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East. Guests are to use the parking and entrance on the north side of the building.
