Michael, age 62, passed away on August 24th, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born on his father’s birthday, July 17th, 1947, in Salt Lake City to Herb and Betty Heidrich.  Herb often said Mike was the best birthday gift a father could ever have.  Michael lived for golfing, old cars and being outdoors.

 

He is survived by the love of his life Janet; children Candice, Wendy, Michael, Brandon “Beaner”, Cory; grandchildren; father Herb; brother Steve (Peggy); sister Debbie Dipo; and many other loving extended family members.

 

Preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

 

A wake will be held on Friday, August 28th from 6 to 8 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.

Mike, I can't believe it's been almost 10 years! We were so saddened when we heard you were sick, but so many years had already passed that we didn't know what to say. For that, we are very regretful. I know you are in a much better place now. Peace be with you. Our love to Janet and everyone else.
