Mike passed away on August 9, 2011 with the loving arms of his family around him, due to natural causes.
He was born on June 21, 1955 in Stuttgart, Germany to Robert James and Therese R. Murphy. He married Shelley Ferguson on September 27, 1990. She preceded his death on March 20, 2007. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, RVing. He was a loving, caring father with a great sense of humor. He will be loved and missed by everyone.
He is survived by his mother; children Jason, Amy, Stephanie, Holly; grandchildren Kale and Xander; siblings Dennis, Robert, Regina, Patrick, Patricia; and special chihuahua Tuffy.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his father.
A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 13th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.
