Michael Douglas Hansen

Born in Ogden, Utah, to Douglas C. Hansen and Linda (Reiman) Hansen. Michael Douglas Hansen died on June 4th, 2026, at the age of 49 in Maricopa County, Arizona, where he had made his home for the past 13 years.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Dawn (Beede) Hansen, and their five sons: Dominick Martinez, Tysen Martinez, Jordan Martinez, Skyler Douglas Hansen, and Michael Benjamin Hansen.

He is also survived by his parents, Douglas C. and Linda Hansen; his siblings, Kimberley Peltier; Racquel (Kelle) Richardson and her husband, Broc Richardson; Benjamin Craig Hansen and his husband, Malan Liborio; Sara Faye Collard and her husband, Alonzo Collard; Samuel James Hansen; and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives, including, his niece, Aubrey Hansen Bowen, who was raised alongside Mike and was loved by him dearly.

Mike is further survived by his aunts and uncles: Craig and Joan Hansen; J. Kelly and Sandy Hansen; Steven and Mary Hansen; Robert and Julie Hansen; Robin Childress; Vicki Childress; and Steve and Carol Childress.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman and Faye Hansen of Syracuse, Utah, and Jack and Glenna (Haase-Reiman) Childress of Moses Lake, Washington; his aunt, Janet Gail (Reiman) Beckley; his uncle, Richard Childress; and his cousin, Carter Hayes Childress.
