Michael Edward Fawks Jr.

Michael E. Fawks, Jr.Born September 1^st, 1968.  Died April 13^th, 2009.  Mike was a graduate of West Jordan HS. Served in the Army National Guard and later went on to become an Electrician/Communication Tech. He loved fishing, gardening, bow hunting with his lifelong friend Rusty, camping with his daughter and being outdoors.  Mike was the first to be there for anyone who needed something fixed, help moving, or someone to talk or cry with. Words will not express the loss we feel with you gone; you had a big heart and there will be an empty spot in ours that only you filled.  His greatest joy and love was always his daughter. Tayler you will always be “Daddy’s Girl”.  Survived by his daughter Tayler Fawks; Ex-wife Monique Quintana Fawks of WJ; mother Darlene McCasland Larsen; brothers Jeff (Mary) Larsen, WA, Carey Orton WV; and many nieces and nephews who adored their “Uncle Mike”.  Preceded in death by siblings Jodie and David.  You spent so much of your life missing your little brother it gives us comfort to know you’re with him now.  A service honoring his life is scheduled on Sat. April 18^th at 12:30 PM at Shadow Mt. Church, 9324 S. Hawley Park Rd (5600 W). In lieu of flowers offer a random act of kindness to someone in memory of Michael.
