Michael passed away on September 2nd, 2010, after a short illness.  He was born on November 23, 1941 to John and Jean Benson in Honolulu, HI.

Michael had a great sense of humor.  He loved to talk to everyone, once he started he never stopped.  Michael was always willing to help people.  He will be missed.

Survived by his wife Sandy; son Alan (Rachael); 3 grandchildren Naomi, twins: Nathan and Nicholas; and sister Susan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18th at 11:00 AM at the clubhouse of Westglen Condos, 3685 South 2200 West, West Valley City.

We will miss Michael at the Westglen Village Condominium Home Owners Association. Micheal served for many years on the Board of Trustees and did a very good job. We appreciate all that he did and enjoyed working with him. He was fun and funny, and always had an interesting way of looking at things. We offer our sincere condolences to Sandy, and Mike's son Alan and his family. May God bless and comfort.
