Michael LaWayne Brown, 81, passed away on December 21, 2022, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on December 9, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Brose Leon Brown and Bernice Amy Worsley.
He married Shawnee Nelson on June 21, 1963. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing Santa Claus for many years. He was a great father to his daughter Cindy. He worked for 40 years at United Airlines and retired from there. He played Santa Claus for United Airlines, Valley Fair Mall, Cottonwood Mall, Circus Circus as well as for many individual families.
He is survived by his daughter Cindy (Shane) Brown Burnett; grandsons Cameron Decker and Cayden Burnett, sister Patricia (Richard) Gray, brother Robert (Robyn) Brown and many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. Kristie Brown McNulty and sons Connor and Thomas. He is preceded in death by his wife Shawnee, his parents Brose and Bernice.
The family wants to give a special thanks to his friends and staff at Olympus Ranch Retirement Community and a special thanks to the angels at Charter Home Healthcare and Hospice.
