Our beautiful daughter, Michelle “Elle” Cantrell, age 24, passed away at her home on May 7th, 2013. Michelle was the happiest she’d been in her life and in her recently spoken words, “Life is amazing when you can truly smile and mean it”. May we all remember Michelle’s kind, loving and joyful spirit.
Michelle was born on January 7th, 1989, in Murray, Utah. She attended Bennion Jr. High, Copperhills and Valley High Schools.
Michelle was loved by her family and friends, gave love unconditionally and especially loved children and animals. We are left with the memories of a sweet, fun-loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend who will be forever missed.
She leaves behind her mother and father Susanne and Maurice Escobar; dad Andy Gutierrez; siblings Jeana (Steve) Lamoreaux, Camie Escobar, Angie (Jim) Escobar, David (Bre) Escobar; sister-in-spirit Stacie Russell; and nieces and nephews Ashleigh, Taryn, Shane, Noah, Hannah, and Hailey.
Friends are invited to celebrate Elle’s life on Wednesday, May 15th from 7 to 9 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, where a viewing will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Humane Society in Michelle’s name.
