Miles Leon Crockett
February 28, 1976 - July 17, 2023
Our dear, sweet, loving, kind, gentle husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Miles Leon Crockett passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly, on July 17, 2023. Miles was born on February 28, 1976, to Diane Miles Crockett and Leon Werner Crockett in Salt Lake City, Utah. Miles was raised in West Jordan, Utah and graduated from West Jordan High School. He attended the University of Utah and Salt Lake Community College.
Miles married Barbara Marie Christiansen in 2009. She was the love of his life. Together they have two sons, Waylon and Willhelm. His boys meant everything to him. Miles was the best husband and father imaginable.
By profession Miles was a land surveyor for Salt Lake County, but his real calling was that of talented pianist, vocalist and musician.
Miles was preceded in death by his mother, Diane Miles Crockett, with whom he is no doubt having a wonderful and joyous reunion. Miles is survived by his wife, Barbara, sons, Waylon and Willhelm, father, Leon, stepmother, Barbara Longmore, brother, Matthew (Valli), brother, Bretton (Maggie), brother-in-law, Brian (Paula), sister-in-law, Brenda, sister-in-law, Bethany, nephews and nieces, Gabriel, Genevieve, Lilian, Ezekiel, Boyd and Isaac as well as many cousins and too many friends to list here.
The family is planning to hold a celebration of Miles’ life and accomplishments in the coming months. We love you Miles and look forward to being with you again.
