Mindy Marie Barstow

June 22, 1984 - October 14, 2021

Mindy was born on June 22, 1984 to Gerald and Lisa (& Bill), she passed away on October 14, 2021 from a cause that will be determined at a later date.

She is the Loving Granddaughter of Gary & Gail, Mike & Sherry.

She was blessed to have 5 brothers and 2 sisters, who adored and loved her very much. Mitch (Katie), Mason (Felicitti), Larry (Cahlie), Toni, Gavin, Quinten, and Chantel. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, who also adored and loved her, so very much.  She had a very close relationship with Mitch, Mason and their families

Mindy graduated from Layton High School. While attending Layton High School at the end of her junior year she met and married the Love of her life, Adam and they have been together ever since. They have one adorable son, Tevyn who is 10 years old. Tevyn gave Mindy her strength and purpose in life, and he will always be her biggest strength.

Mindy was a kind and loving person, loved being with her family and friends. She was the life of every get together, giving everyone a hard time and keeping those brothers in check!

As we all know Mindy had some struggles over the last few years, however in the last few months, she was feeling better and on a road to mental recovery, she had the spark back in her eyes.

She was a huge part of all of us, and will be missed to the deepest part of our core. Please, Please, always remember her, and keep those memories close to your heart! You never know when someone you love this much is all of the sudden gone, from your life.

A Celebration of Mindy’s life will be Friday, October 22, 2021 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Where family and friends may come and share their memories together.

Trying to find the right words is next to impossible. There are no words. Mindy is, was, and always will be a bright shining light. I will truly miss her laugh and smile. There's one thing I know in my heart of hearts. Her grandpa and grandma(Lisa parents) grandma Sherry and my dad where all there to welcome her with loving arms. I am trying to find comfort in knowing that. Sending all my love and big hug to the family and her sweet sweet little Tevyn. Fly high Mindy❤️

I'm heart broken for your loss. I loved working with Mindy. We had so many inside jokes and were always laughing. I have a list of all the expressions that we would say to each other and just laugh. I will miss her.

Bill and Lisa And Family I am so sorry to hear about Mindy.  Words cannot express the heartache you must feel at this time.  The beacon of light she carried is now that ever shining star in heaven.  I know she loved her grandfather Gary dearly and he was there with many others and embraced her to a most peaceful place in heaven.  As she loved each one of you so much I am sure she stands close.  Mitch and Mason I send you hugs and a healing as well.  Working with you I know the love you have for her.  Always hold that spot dearly.  As you think of her, there she will be.  My prayers go out to each of you at this time of loss.  Her beauty here on earth will forever remain.  Until you meet again when you think of her just smile and feel your heart of love for her.  Death is but a transition to another realm of LOVE beyond measure.  Many prayers and hugs to each of you as my heart aches for you.  Death is never a goodbye. Just until we meet again. ❤
