Minnie Lee Branch
April 26, 1949 - October 13, 2011
Minnie L. Branch
After many years of pain and suffering, Minnie L. Branch, was reunited with her Heavenly Father on October 13th, 2011. Minnie was born on April 26, 1949 to Rufus and Mary Branch.
Mom loved to plant her flowers, decorating, singing, dancing and listening to music. She loved to be surrounded by friends, family and food, always making sure everyone was smiling, laughing and full. She met you as a stranger but left you as a friend.
With a tenth grade education and being a single mom to her 3 beloved children, she worked hard to support her family.
Minnie started her relationship with God at an early age and maintained it until her homecoming.
Left to cherish her loving memory are husband Walter; son Jeffery (Michelle); daughters Mary (David), Lisa (Reggie); sister Vera (James); brother Thomas (Florence); 9 grandkids; 7 great-grandkids; nieces; nephews; and a host of friends.
Meeting her in Heaven are her parents; brothers Sonny Man, Bo Pete; and granddaughter Robin.
A celebration of Minnie’s life will be held on Saturday, October 22nd from 6 to 8 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Minnie will be laid to rest with her parents in Alabama in the summer of 2012.
Momma is no longer in pain and will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
In Loving Memory
She was known as Miss Minnie to us, but she was like a mother to us. Everytime you saw her she was always welcoming us with love, hugs, food, and humor. We were blessed and honored to know her. Thank you Branch Family for sharing her with us. She is gone physically, but will always be with you. May God comfort you during this difficult time. To be absent from the body means to present with the Lord. Miss Minnie we will miss you, but you will not be forgotten. We Love You.

Mary Branch and family my heart and prayers are with you in this trying time and I only can pray that God can ease your pain soon. I know there are no words that will fill the void that your family feels but you should feel comfort knowing that Miss Minnie is in God hands and she isn't in pain any more. God Bless you and your family. The Tillman's

Grandma Minnie, I miss you more than ever. I've been suffering since 7th grade & losing you just turned my whole life upside down. I don't know who else to talk to about this as sometimes death is very difficult for me to talk about & bring up. I know it's part of life but still. Nothing is the same no more. Please visit my dreams more often. I really miss you. Happy 74th Birthday, Grandma Minnie. <3
