Myrtle Helen Feller

December 24, 1931 - June 25, 2023

Myrtle Helen Prymak was born in 1931 in Edmonton, Alberta Canada, to Dan and Frances Prymak in farm country. In her twenties, she moved to San Francisco where she met Ramon Gillette Feller. They were married in 1966, and in 1969 moved to Salt Lake City where they raised their two children, Harlow and Sheila. Myrtle was at ease in any sort of group. She had her own sense of style including interesting pendants and other beaded jewelry. She worked for several stock brokers in Salt Lake City.

Later she lived in St. George, Utah for thirteen years enjoying the laid-back lifestyle and regular trips to Mesquite, Nevada. She was an avid duplicate bridge player throughout her life and reached Gold Life Master status. She traveled to many tournaments throughout Utah and Idaho, from Mesquite and Las Vegas, Nevada to San Francisco, California, often with Ramon who was a Tournament Director.

Myrtle loved all kinds of puzzles including crypto quotes, crosswords, and jigsaws. She was a chef of favorite comfort food recipes, such as, Chicken and Broccoli casserole and Spanish rice. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends and often brought boiled raisin cake to bridge games and Calico beans to family parties.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, brother Joe, and her children. She is survived by her husband and grandchildren, Shawnessy Harlo Valdez and Thomas Gillette Dorosky.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, July 3 from 10 am to 12 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 S 900 E. Burial will follow 12:30 pm at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Lawn, 1778 E 3300 S. Flower donations are appreciated.

Shawnessy and Tommy, Steve and I sure did enjoy any time we spent with Myrtle. She was a great cook; she shared her delicious chicken/ broccoli casserole recipe with me and had passed it down to my girls, she also introduced me to cucumber sandwiches yum. She had a great sense of humor and always seemed to be looking at me with a smile, like she knew something about me that I didn't know, hmmm, I wonder what your Mom told her about me. Haha. She was kind, intelligent, gentle and always welcomed us into her home be it in SLC or St George. We will miss her dearly. We love you both always & forever, Aunt Nina & Uncle Steve

Shawnessy, I am so sorry for your loss. I met your gram once, but I felt like I knew her better than that because of what she meant to you. Your gram seemed like a very nice lady that enjoyed her life and it sounded like she was a great role model to you. I'm sorry I can't be there physically to support you, but know I am here for you and sending you lots of love.

Shawnessy, I did not know Myrtle, but I know she was in the right hands these last many months. That has been enlightening and humbling to witness. With you always and here in any way.
