Nancy Jean May
January 28, 1962 - July 16, 2017
Nancy Jean May, our loving mother, Gigi, sister, and friend, passed away on July 16th, 2017.
She lived her life with a contagious passion, determination, and conviction, taking incredible care of those around her – including the numerous animals she rescued over the years, the many people she helped through Intermountain Therapy Animals, and the charitable organizations she was involved in. Nancy had many loves in her life, including her dogs, her garden, Lake Tahoe, biking, tennis, and, above all, her grandbabies.
She is survived by her children Mike (Ashleigh), Danielle (Brian), Ashley (David), and Alexandria (Matt); her grandchildren Archer, Olive, and Bode; her siblings Scott (Allegra), Jean-Rae (Kevin), and Gwen (Tom); and the many friends and loved ones who knew and adored her. She is met with open arms by her mother, Priscilla, and her father, Fremont.
With all our hearts, Gigi.

In Loving Memory
Alex, There aren't any words I can offer you that will make what you are going through easier. I've been trying and trying to think of some. Just know that there isn't a day that goes by that I haven't thought about you countless times. I am there for you guys if you need anything. Please don't hesitate to ask. Seriously, I would love to be able to help in any way. Even if that's to take you guys out, have you over, or drop off a dinner or movie. Just name it. Maybe a hug. Hugs are better than words anyway. Take care of yourself. Hope you have some good days coming your way soon, and know that you've got a ton of people thinking of you and more than happy to help. Your friend, Steve Wood

I am so deeply sorry for the passing of your Mother and Father. I've know Nancy for a long time, we were tennis partners in league. She was a grunter! But such a lovely player, fun and fair on and off the court. Even when she was hitting me, her partner, on HER serves! I remember you girls coming to some of our matches at Liberty Park. Your support of her was a pleasure to see. I also was involved in ITA and know the love she had for animals and her rescues. She will be greatly missed. I hope your many great memories of her and your family will give you much comfort at this extremely difficult time. With love and concern, Pat

Ashley and Alex, I am so sorry for your loss. Your parents were wonderful people. I have so many fun memories of them from the soccer days. Your mom was so funny, since I have had chickens she would always send me facebook messages about different things involving chickens! She was so kind :)

Dear Family, I was a new friend to Nancy, one of the women committed to riding on the back row at spinning class at the JCC. She was a lovely person, very warm and quietly friendly. I am so sorry for your loss.

Ashley and Alex: I am so so sorry for your loss, I can't imagine what you are going through. I worked with Your Mom for many years at Color my nails and I also babysat you both a lot and would sleep over while they traveled: your Mom loves you so much and always wanted your hair perfect in a page boy cut, I remember that because I would have to take you to get it cut. Your Mom was so funny and very caring, when I got married she would tell me she thought it was like a fairy tale.. I have not talked to her in a while, but I could see through FB how much she loved her grandkids and whole family! I know that my Sister Monica greeted her with open arms. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love Jolene

Mike, Danielle, Ashley and Alex You probably do not remember us, but My husband Mitch and I shared many wonderful and hilarious times with your parents. I worked with your Mom at Color My Nails for 5 years. We formed a bond that stayed strong. I loved her so much. Mitch and I were lucky to have spent time with them at Tahoe. We will cherish those memories. We hold you all in our hearts Your parents were so proud of you all, so happy for the love you all found and worshiped their grandchildren. If we can help in any way, please email me. Do not hesitate. Our hearts are breaking with yours. We are so sorry

Ashley, I was shocked to hear on TV of your parents' passing. I remember your mother so well. She was always so active in supporting the Judge girls' swim team. I know you will miss them both tremendously. May God continue to comfort you, your brother and sisters during this very difficult time.

Dear Ashley, We are so sorry. We have such fond memories of your parents. Of their watching you play Para league basketball (undefeated!) and soccer. Of laughing so hard with Nancy during wonderful evenings that magical summer in Cesenatico. We are sorry we did not stay closer as all our daughters grew up and some moved away. We can only imagine how much your hearts are breaking. Our love to you and Alex and Danielle and Mike and your families. Kathy McD and Mike Murray

Dear Mike, Danielle, Ashley and Al, We are grief-stricken and very heartbroken to hear about the death of Mark and Nancy. We always cherished your parents as friends and neighbors, and have many fond memories with them. Our thoughts are with you at this most difficult transition in life that one has to bare. Your parents were both wonderful people who raised four spectacular children, helped so many abandoned animals and were loved by many in the community. They will be missed. We send our love and blessings to you all???Suzanne, Jim and Kate Sackas
