Nathan Archer

May 21, 1978 - June 27, 2023

We mourn the loss of our beloved Nathan Brent Archer. He passed away at the age of 45 on June 27, 2023.

Nathan, known as E by his most loved, was born May 21, 1978 to Diane (Walker) and Scott Archer in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nathan was the youngest brother of three boys. He attended Olympus High School, graduating in 1996.

Nathan had an amazing group of neighborhood friends whom he cared for deeply and maintained awesome friendships through the years.

Following High School Nathan attended the University of Utah and was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

After graduating, Nathan became interested in remodeling homes and started Remodels Unlimited. Nathan was easy to work with.

He was gifted at design and adding his craftsmanship and attention to detail to those designs.

Nathan loved the rambunctious playful companionship of his best dog pal “Moose”. He enjoyed finding a beautiful river to go Fly fishing. But what he loved most was crabbing and salmon fishing in the San Juan Islands. He treasured the time he spent playing golf with his family and friends. He was a passionate sports fan and an avid Utah Utes and Utah Jazz fan. Nathan excelled at playing the athletics he enjoyed.

Throughout Nathan’s life, he cherished his relationships. He touched the hearts of many through his sweet soul, his acts of kindness and the genuine connections he made. Despite the hardships that he faced, Nathan always had a way of making those around him feel loved and accepted.

In honoring Nathan’s memory, let us extend our support to those who face similar challenges and strive to break free from the grips of addiction. Together, we can foster an environment of empathy, healing and love.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers and their families: Ryan, Anne, Knox and Gwen; and Zach, Shannon, Ireland and Zachary.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Nathan on Thursday, July 13th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Share your photos and memories with his family at www.starksfuneral.com
