Nicole Perkins
June 22, 1971 - July 12, 2024
Murray, UT – Nicole Perkins, loving daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on July 12, 2024, due to injuries sustained in an auto/pedestrian accident. We are truly grateful for the dedicated team of the Shock Trauma ICU at IHC in Murray, who cared for her.
Nicole was born on June 22, 1971, at LDS Hospital, to Richard T. and Margery B. Perkins. She graduated from Granger High in 1990, where she made many friends. She left Utah for New York at the age of 19 to be a nanny and to see the east coast. A short time later she moved to San Diego, Ca. She loved the ocean, sunsets and hanging with mom and her sisters. Eventually she would return to Utah and begin a long career in the call center world, most notably, Discover Card, a job she truly loved. In these last few years, she spent a lot of her time at the Utah Independent Living Center enjoying classes, field trips and Friday bowling. Our gratitude goes out to this remarkable place with even better people.
Nicole is survived by her sister Paige Perkins (Encinitas, Ca.) and brother, Michael Perkins (SLC), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Marge, brother Richie, sister Tiffany and beloved cat Mary.
There will be a graveside service on August 24, 2024, 1:00 pm, at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 445 North 940 East. We invite you to come as you are in your casual attire.
