Norman N. Suazo

June 8, 1928 - November 30, 2014

Our beloved husband and father passed away peacefully November 30, 2014 at the age of 86.

He was born June 8, 1928 in Abiquiu, NM to Lucia and Sabino Suazo. Served his country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. Member of the Teamsters Union. Retired after 31 years of employment at Consolidated Freightway. He was a hardworking, loving and accepting father who deeply enjoyed family gatherings.

Survived by his wife of 65 years, Leticia Suazo; children James (Maria), Cathy (Charlie), Mike, Diane (Harold), Benjamin, Lucy (Alex); 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; siblings Paul Garcia, Jackie Suazo, Sylvia Suazo. Preceded in death by brother Arturo.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, December 4th at 6:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, where a celebration of life will follow. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 5th at 11:00 AM at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, 1058 West 400 South, Salt Lake City. Inurnment Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

Our parents give us so much through our lives, and we always know they will most likely go before us, but when it happens, we are never ready for it.
