Patricia Anna Langford Swanson
October 6, 1930 - May 24, 2017
Pat, our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, the 24th of May, 2017.
Patricia Anna Langford was born in Park City, Utah on Monday, the 6th of October, 1930 to Wilford Langford and Madeline Cunningham Langford. Pat was selected Queen to reign over Park City's 1947 Centennial Celebration. She attended Park City High School where she met, and would later marry, Bob Lee Swanson. Together, Bob and Pat raised three sons, Steve, Blaine, and Brent who she deeply adored. Bob and Pat founded a construction company, building many homes and businesses throughout the Salt Lake Valley. Pat took great pride in her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved very much. She was an avid gardener, traveler, quick witted and never missed her afternoon screwdriver; which she affectionately named "Betty White."
Family, friends, and others whose lives Pat touched are invited to a Celebration of her Life, Thursday, June 1st, anytime from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, at Starks Funeral Parlor 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking on the north side of the building. Interment and committal prayer to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1342 East 500 South, Salt Lake City, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Utah AIDS foundation in the name and memory of Eric Swanson or Huntsman Cancer Institute in the name and memory of Pat Swanson.

Though I know that this is a difficult time for you, my hope is that you will be comforted from God's inspired word the Bible. John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21: 3,4 gives hope of a future resurrection and the complete elimination of death, pain and mourning. Under Jesus' kingdom rule we have this and much more to look forward to. Please accept my deepest condolences
