Patricia Crowley Kreher
March 19, 1937 - November 17, 2013
Pat passed away with family by her side after an 8-year battle with Alzheimer's disease. Born to Isabelle and Cornelius Crowley, and raised in Pontiac, MI, Pat attended Catholic schools through college, graduating in Early Education.
She married her college sweetheart, Charles Kreher, and moved to Saginaw MI, in 1958 where Pat cherished her busy life raising children. She loved her neighborhood, taught YWCA classes, played bridge and was active in her church and the Junior League. With grace and patience she encouraged her children to pursue unique interests meanwhile earning a Master's Degree. The family moved to Utah in 1979. Soon after Pat became the Dir. of the Div. of Licensing for the State until retiring in 2002. A member of many organizations, she was honored with Utah's Friend of Child Care Award. Pat's passions included gardening and home décor. All aspects of her life were balanced with faith, friends and family. Her 4 children and 5 grandchildren were her greatest delight. Her shining light and grace will be missed by all.
Survived by her husband Charles Kreher; children Brad Kreher, Tasha Swahn, Colleen Davidson and Karin Thorn; five grandchildren; and sister Colleen Conarty.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 19th at 3:00 PM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 E. Creek Rd., Cottonwood Heights. A Celebration of Life to follow at 5:00 PM at Brookstone, 1700 E., 6400 S., SLC.
