Patricia Jean Roberg West

January 4, 1934 - September 13, 2025

Patricia Jean Roberg West was born on January 4, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She lived a long and meaningful life surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She passed away peacefully at age 91 where she was surrounded by her family on September 13, 2025.

Patricia, known affectionately as Pat, was a devoted mother and grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched all that knew her. She had a remarkable ability to make each person feel uniquely special and deeply loved. Her home was a place of comfort and creativity, where love was expressed not only through words but also through the many beautiful things she made with her hands.

Pat possessed an extraordinary talent for crafts of all kinds. Whether painting delicate scenes, crocheting intricate patterns, shaping pottery with care or sewing with precision and love; she poured her heart into every creation. Her artistic spirit brought joy to all those around her and left behind cherished keepsakes that will be treasured for generations.

Pat was preceded in death by husband Rulon Dean West; her parents Jessie and Sydney Roberg; her brother Rolla Roberg; sisters JoAnn Earl, Sydney Cook and Tammy Lyman; two grandsons Shane West and Josh Rydalch.

Pat leaves behind a legacy of love through her children:  three sons, Terry West (Dianne) Magna, Brad West (Anna) of South Jordan, and John West of West Valley. Three daughters, Deana Rydalch, South Jordan; Brenda Biesinger (Trent) South Jordan and Kamla Sundquist (Russ) of Sandy, Utah. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, who will carry forward the values she installed in them.

May her memory continue to bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Pat at her granddaughter’s home:
