Patrick Michael Eagan
July 18, 1942 - November 2, 2014
Patrick Michael Eagan passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 2nd, 2014. Mike, as he was known, was born in Houston, Texas on July 18th, 1942, son of Frances and Mamie Eagan.
Mike attended Reagan High School in Houston, Texas. He was in Demolay as a young man. In 1962, after high school he joined the Navy. He married Donna Smith on July 26, 1963.
He worked for Delta Airlines for 34 years. Some of his hobbies included stained glass, carpentry and fishing with his brother in Galveston, TX. Mike had a great sense of sarcastic humor. He had a great love for animals and especially his dogs. Most recent being a French Bull Dog named Taffy.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years Donna; sons Timothy (Michelle), Richard (Jamie), Dennis (Chrissy); grandchildren Kendyn (Julianna) Timothy, Drew, Conner, Alexis, Charlie and Porter; great grandchildren Ayla and Bailey; brother Eugene; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his sister Eileen.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held on Friday, November 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Inurnment will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 11:00 AM at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 S. Camp Williams Rd., Bluffdale.
Donations to Huntsman Cancer Hospital or a charity of your choice in Mike's honor.
